Anger

Anger is like a pot of boiling water,
    bubbling up inside of you
Anger is like a giant snake,
    sneaking up behind you just waiting to strike
Anger is like a bad habit,
    that one you just can’t kick
Anger makes you feel as if your trapped in a cage,
    begging to be set free
Anger makes you feel like you’re locked in prison,
    doing anything you can to escape
Anger makes you experience a cold, dark,
    and dreadful sensation
Anger is like death;
    it has no mercy and doesn’t discriminate

Anger destroys you,
    slowly breaking you into pieces
It keeps picking away at you until you can’t put yourself together anymore
